Set sail with Hissa segel and discover the beauty of some of the 60 000 islands of the Scandianvian archipelago. We sail the luxurious and fast Linjett 40, built in the northern part of the archipelago and designed to suit the characteristics of our nature.
Everybody, young or old, experienced or inexperienced, can participate in the manoeuvring and navigation of the boat and the trimming of the sails. If you prefer to sit back and relax, it is up to you.
Transfer from your hotel or from the Arlanda airport is at about 9.30 am and you arrive at the marina of Svinninge (located some 30 kilometres northeast of the city centre) at around 10 am. After getting acquainted with the boat and going through some basic safety instructions, we let go of the ropes and set sail.
This is the inner part of the archipelago. The houses around the shores are a mixture between summer cottages and pleasant houses for permanent living. Nature is dominated by granite islands partly covered by pine trees. The waters change from areas where it opens up and fairways for large vessels to the most picturesque narrow passages with a 100 year old, exquisite summer houses. The further out we get, civilization is left behind and nature takes over. How far out we get is decided by the wind conditions. We moor in a natural harbour and if you like you can take a quick swim before we serve lunch. After lunch we steer towards Stockholm and on our way we pass the little port town of Vaxholm and its castle. Entering Stockholm from sea offers some spectacular views and depending upon your wishes and the time available we could take an extra tour and pass by the old town and the royal castle. Our landing stage is at Strandvägen right in the middle of town. We are aiming for an arrival at about 5 pm.
After you have disembarked we would suggest strolling about for a while, enjoying the atmosphere and the sights. The sea air gives you a good appetite so perhaps you want to stop by a restaurant before heading back to your hotel.
